Our Mission: San Bernardino County Black Pride is a proud branch of Reclaiming Us: A Black Pride Wellness Movement. A healing centered, legacy building, initiative created for Black LGBTQ+ people. We’re here to uplift our community through wellness, culture, and connections. No drama. No distractions.Just purpose, pride, and people first programming. This is more than Pride, this is a movement.

What We Do

  • Community Wellness Resources

    We connect our community with tools, serves, and support rooted in metal health, physical wellness, and self empowerment - because wellness is a right, not a luxury.

  • Leadership Development

    We mentor and uplift the next generation of Black LGBTQ+ leaders through volunteer opportunities, training, and platforms that nurture voice, purpose, and power.

  • Family-Centered Outreach

    We design programs and events that welcome children, caregivers, and chosen family - making Pride an intergenerational space of love, safety, and support.

  • Cultural Empowerment

    From honoring Black queer legacy to reclaiming stolen platforms, we preserve our culture and history through storytelling, art, and grassroots organizing.

  • Legacy Building

    Everything we do honors the past, protects the present, and builds for the future. We are reclaiming our place in Pride - not just for today, but for generations to come.

  • Healing-Centered Pride Events

    We host international Pride experiences that center Black LGBTQ+ healing, visibility, and truth. Our events aren’t just parties - they’re safe spaces for restoration and joy.

Johanna P. Perez Founder & Executive Director, San Bernardino County Black Pride™ & Reclaiming Us Movement

San Bernardino County Black Pride is part of Reclaiming Us: A Black Pride Wellness Movement. A celebration rooted in healing, unity, and purpose.

We’re not here to dwell on what was taken; we’re here to build forward. Our movement is about creating space for Black LGBTQ+ people to thrive. Through wellness programs, cultural connection, and family healing. It’s about telling a new story of strength, not a story of loss.

I began this journey to bring genuine transformation to our community. With intention, care, and authenticity. Today, that vision is deeper than ever. We’re creating spaces where youth are uplifted, families are restored, and futures are reimagined. All centered in love and restored pride.

To our supporters, sponsors, partners, and the entire Inland Empire community: your belief makes this possible. And to anyone who wondered if we’d returned, know this: our movement never paused.
